St. Andrews Church,
Dublin 2
Built circa 1862, the former St. Andrew's Church was deconsecrated in the late 20th century and briefly served as the Dublin Tourist Office before becoming obsolete.
Sunni Goodson acted as the Conservation Consultant on a design team tasked with converting the site into a food market, restaurant, and event venue. She analyzed building conditions and worked with specialist contractors to specify repairs to the granite and limestone envelope, historic plasterwork, and stained leaded glass.
Collaborating with Project Architect Joseph Doyle Architects and other consultants, she provided essential guidance for the building's sensitive adaptation. Sunni also produced a successful Conservation Report and Architectural Heritage Impact Assessment, followed by tender specifications for necessary repairs and new interventions to the historic fabric.
